Revolutionised the HMP complaints system for discrimination by spearheading a group of peers to challenge the norm and create a more effective system.
Progressed the effectiveness of the department through increased focus on overlooked areas of need, such as making reasonable adjustments for prisoners with disabilities and providing forums facilitate the prisoners’ voice.
Conceptualised and wrote two policy documents highlighted as best practice by NOMS and subsequently used as templates for the entire service.

Advised on Cell Sharing Risk Assessments for prisoners with racially aggravated offences.
